45 Park Lane was shaped by two of the twentieth century's defining design minds: Walter Gropius, who founded the Bauhaus, and Thierry Despont, who reimagined the building in Art Deco style. That lineage makes it the natural starting point for a tour through Mayfair's most compelling architecture, tracing secluded streets and tree-lined squares most visitors never find.
